I shot this photo for the article i linked up there. I don't agree with the opinion expressed in that article, so i worked to take a photo on the edge of the two opinions. A sort of mediation: it's ambiguous. As you can see the society, rapresented by the chess pieces, is divided in mainly 2 classes, king and queen against pawns. That's the starting point of my analisys and ideas. Chess is a sort of war game, but as you can see the soldiers, pawns, aren't fighting, so are they non-violent? Or are waiting to be violent? The slogan says: "I won't fight for you anymore". Does it mean that they won't fight anymore or will they fight only for themselves? There is antiracism too. and revolutionary defeatism.
